Tohoku University's Graduate School of Engineering invites applications for multiple tenured faculty positions as part of the 'DEI Promotion Project,' launched in alignment with the 'Tohoku University Declaration of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)' issued in April 2022. This initiative aims to create an inclusive and equitable environment that allows everyone to fully demonstrate their abilities, fostering research excellence and innovation. To address the significant gender gap in engineering, affirmative action is being taken to accelerate gender equity and inclusion.

1. Professorship (2 positions)

2. Early Career Associate Professor/Principal Investigator (1 position)

Applications are welcome from candidates specializing in a broad range of engineering disciplines. Departmental affiliation will be determined based on the area of expertise. If multiple areas of interest exist, please rank them in the application.
