The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Tohoku University is accepting applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the associate professor level.

The selected applicant will join the Advanced Aerospace Engineering Group within the department. The Astronautical Engineering Group focuses on areas such as propulsion engineering, space exploration, and space structures.

Candidates are expected to establish a research program in the field of astronautical engineering and demonstrate potential for future advancement to a full professor role within the group. Emphasis will be placed on the originality, influence, and global perspective of the applicant's work.

Responsibilities will include teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels and supervising research projects that lead to MS and Ph.D. theses.
