Tohoku University is launching a new initiative called "Student DemoDay," a comprehensive platform designed to support and showcase student-led projects that tackle social issues.
As part of its commitment to innovative research, Tohoku University offers many support programmes that encourage students to take on societal challenges through creative research and technological development. These programmes include funding for social implementation, pitching and mentoring opportunities, and community-building initiatives.
Student DemoDay, which will be held for the first time on December 14, is a one-stop shop to amplify these efforts.

This year's Tohoku University Business Idea Contest will also be held as part of DemoDay, with a joint networking session from 5 p.m. at the Aobayama Commons.
Both Student DemoDay and the Tohoku University Business Idea Contest are open to all members of the university and the general public. The events are free, but registration is required.
