Tohoku University will be holding a Spring Festival to give first year undergraduates a chance to experience and learn more about the student clubs and circle activities available on campus.
Aware that the pandemic has made it difficult for some new students to make friends and settle into campus life, the university hopes that this festival will help them meet people with similar interests, and find activities that would make student life more fun and fulfilling.
The festival will be divided into a Sports Day and a Culture Day. Both days will feature information booths, hands-on activities, performances and even contests. Participants will be supported by senior representatives of student clubs as well as members of their department.
