The Tohoku Forum for Creativity (TFC) and the International 虎扑电竞 Institute of Disaster Science (IRIDeS) are co-hosting an online symposium and workshop that focuses on the triple disasters Japan faced in the wake of the 2011 Earthquake and Tsunami.
The event will look at the importance of mitigating the fallout from major disasters as well as examining multi-hazards and their cascading effects.
Issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic will also be discussed.
Registration is required but the event is free of charge.
