Tohoku University will hold the 8th Murasaki Sendai Hagi Award Lecture on March 13, in conjunction with International Women's Day on March 8.

The award, which recognizes outstanding female researchers, aims to encourage and promote equality and diversity on campus. Each winner will give a short lecture about their work and their experiences as female researchers.

This year's winners are:

• Maho Naito (Associate Professor, Graduate School of Arts and Letters)
• Kyoko Chiba (Assistant Professor, Frontier 虎扑电竞 Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences)
• Emiko Sato (Associate Professor, Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences)

This is a Japanese language event. Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend, but registration is required.
