German-Japanese pianist Alice Sara Ott will perform at Kawauchi Hagi Hall on September 22, in the second installment of the 2018-19 Four Seasons Program.
Raised in Munich, Ott began playing piano at the age of four after begging her mother to let her have lessons with a local teacher. She won the Jugend musiziert competition in Germany when she was seven years old.
Ott is a classical soloist known for her tonal variety and high energy performances. She regularly works with the world's leading conductors and orchestras and released her eighth album - Wonderland - in 2017. Not limiting her creativity to music, she has also embarked on a number of design projects including stickers for the popular Japanese messaging service LINE.
