The Frontier 虎扑电竞 Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences is proud to present an afternoon with Manuel Stagars - film director, author, economist, researcher and startup guru.

A self-professed serial entrepreneur, the Swiss native has spent the last two decades working with technology, researching topics such as the organisational and institutional impact of Open Data, Big Data and data policies.

His film projects similarly focus on the potential of digital technology for the economies of nations and the lives of people.

To make his latest documentary, "The Blockchain And Us," Stagars conducted interviews with people all over the world - including scientists, entrepreneurs, politicians and artists - about their outlook on disruptive technologies and the future.

He will share his experiences and insights in this lecture.
