Obtaining your degree/graduation/completion/teaching certificates

If you will be entering a Tohoku University graduate school directly from this faculty, and thus do not need your degree and certificates immediately, we request that you obtain them after classes have resumed by presenting your Student ID Card at your office/department.

If you wish to obtain certificates earlier by postal mail for employment etc., please contact us as described below.

  Graduate students "Request for Degree Certificate (Graduate)"
• Please provide the following information in the body of the e-mail.
  1. Academic department/major
  2. Student ID Number
  3. Name
  4. How you wish to receive your degree: we can mail it by post, or you can pick it up in person.
  5. If you wish to have it mailed, provide your mailing address.
     (*Will be issued in April or later. Please cut up and dispose of your Student ID Card yourself.)
  6. If you wish to pick it up in person, note the date on which you will come.
     (*Please come on or after April 1. Bring your Student ID Card.)

Notes:

If you previously requested certificates and applied for a teaching license, they will be mailed/issued together with your degree. If you require them immediately for employment etc., please contact the below.
