Postal delivery of degree (diploma) and graduation/completion certificates

The Faculty/Graduate School of Law will mail you your degree (diploma) and graduation/completion certificates pending recovery of the Japanese postal system and preparations such as printing etc. of said certificates. Please provide us with your mailing address and contact information by e-mail or FAX.

We intend to send the certificates in late April, but this may change depending on the state of affairs.

Please understand that Tohoku University was damaged by the earthquake, so issuance of these certificates is behind schedule. Again, regular issuance of certificates is set to resume in late April. If you require certificates for employment or to enter graduate school, we ask that you inform your employer/university of the situation and seek their understanding.

Please stay safe, and check back with the Tohoku University homepage periodically for new announcements.

Materials to be sent:

  *Will be sent by Registered Mail. Upon delivery, you will be required to stamp or sign the receipt.

Please provide the following information by e-mail:

  1. Subject Line: Degree
  2. Student ID Number
  3. Name
  4. Mailing address/Postal code (please provide an address that will be valid even if certificates are delivered ahead of schedule)
  5. 虎扑电竞 phone number (land line, mobile phone, FAX etc.)
  6. If you require multiple copies of certificates, tell us which certificates and how many copies of each.
  7. If you are having the certificates mailed to a place other than your family/your own residence, provide the name of the addressee.
