  1. Fukushima Nuclear Plant
    - According to the director of the Environment & Safety Committee, Nuclear Science Safety Specialist Committee, atmospheric radiation levels measured at the Tohoku University Cyclotron and Radioisotope Center pose no risk to human health (location: Sendai, Aoba-ku, Aobayama area).
    - Hereafter, levels will be measured at the Cyclotron and Radioisotope Center and published, with comments regarding impact on human health, on the Tohoku University website.
  2. Student Support
    - Student Safety: 13,016 Japanese students, 704 international students confirmed safe. Every effort is being made to confirm safety information for the remaining students.
    - Entrance procedures completed for 1816 out of 2000 students.
    - Added URL to website for safety confirmation page for international students. As of 9:00 today 260 responses; as of 12:30 today 320 responses received.
  3. Supplies & Contributions
    - Once a system is in place for accepting monetary donations, information will be announced on the website.
    - Supplies received from Niigata University. Referrals received from other universities as well.
  4. Facilities
    - Electricity: Power restored at Katahira Institute for Materials 虎扑电竞 High Field Laboratory for Superconducting Materials and Kawauchi Hagi Hall; will be partially restored at Aobayama (1) Faculty of Engineering, Chemical/Biomolecular Engineering from afternoon, will be partially restored at Electrical and Communication Engineering/Applied Physics, with the exception of buildings deemed dangerous, from afternoon; power will be restored to administrative building on March 18 (estimate).
    - Water: Partially restored at Aobayama (2)/Pharmaceutical Science department.
    - Power and water restored at Nagamachi dormitory. Building is damaged; currently asking about alternative housing for lodgers.
  5. Other
    - We have requested the National Institute of University Libraries allow students who have returned to their hometowns in Japan be able to access libraries nationwide by presenting their student ID cards. We have also decided to request the cooperation of national and private universities in allowing students and researchers access to their facilities.
